More than likely it is a Pigeon Shotgun, taubenflinte(German), fusil de chasse pigeon(French). These were the sporting weapons of the elite. Major events occurred at locations like Monte Carlo & I'm sure locations in Hungary. Huge sums of money were dependent on hitting the target and makers spared no expense to accommodate the clients whims in order to hopefully give him an edge in competition.
